A life that makes God smile
Everything can start with one simple question:
What makes God smile ?
1. God smiles when we love Him
God is not looking for a perfect person. He wants our heart. He wants us to choose Him, think of Him, and talk to Him. Even a small moment when we turn our mind toward God makes Him happy.Loving Him first simply means remembering Him in our everyday life.
2. God smiles when we trust Him completely
Life can feel confusing, and sometimes nothing makes sense. But when we hand our fears and worries to God, it becomes a way of worship. We can simply say,“You know what is best for me. I trust You.”
3. God smiles when we obey Him with our whole heart
Obedience isn’t about following rules it’s about love. Every time we say “yes” to God, in small choices or big decisions, we show that we want His way above our own.To obey God simply means:“Lord, I trust Your wisdom more than mine.”
4. God smiles when we praise and thank Him
A thankful heart is powerful. When we stop for a moment to thank God or to praise Him, something inside us becomes lighter. Gratitude not only honors God it also gives us peace and joy.Praise is one of the simplest and most beautiful gifts we can give Him.
5. God smiles when we use the abilities He gave us
God enjoys seeing us use our talent big or small. He delights in our daily life: when we work, cook, care for others, create, learn, rest, or even dream.Every ability we use is a reflection of the Creator who made us. When we use our gifts well, we honor Him.
A Life That Makes God Smile
At the end of the day, this is what we truly want not a perfect life, not people’s approval, not success. We simply want a life that makes God smile.
May every step we take, every choice we make, and every small whisper of faith rise like a quiet prayer to Him.
This reflection came from a chapter I read in "The purpose Driven Life" a book that has helped me to strengthen my faith and brought a lot of clarity in my journey. I found it meaningful and worth sharing.
May God’s smile fill our hearts with peace every day.
